After going to the town of Mayberry Thursday, we wanted to do one last hike to end our week. There's an interesting story behind this hike. It is said that the cave was used by Tories during the American Revolution. It wasn't a very big cave, probably only about 30 feet deep. And then there was a tall waterfall off to the right, although there wasn't much water coming from it. :)
I guess I'm posting these a little backwards, but Mayberry will be up next. :)
Will did some climbing in the cave. Haha, he was so excited to be doing what all his uncles were doing. :)
I just liked these mailboxes. :)

That is really neat!! You would love it out here, my dear... there are SO many of those mailboxes on a post. I get tired of seeing them. See, out in the country, there are so many loooong driveways and precarious dirt roads that they just stick all the mailboxes of the houses up those roads at the intersection with the main road. Thankfully, our mailbox is right at the end of our not-so-long driveway... so it's a blessing that we don't have to trudege through waist-deep snow in January to get our mail!!
Sorry about that, I miss-spelled "trudge." blah.
